raise me up to more than i can be

When I am down and, oh my soul, so weary;
When troubles come and my heart burdened be;
Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up... To more than I can be.

JOY overcoming fear

Sing, O Daughter of Zion;
shout aloud, O Israel!
Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,
O Daughter of Jerusalem!

The LORD has taken away your punishment,
he has turned back your enemy.
The LORD, the King of Israel, is with you;
never again will you fear any harm.

On that day they will say to Jerusalem,
"Do not fear, O Zion;
do not let your hands hang limp.

The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing." /Zephaniah 3:14-17/

Jesus our joy, you want us to have hearts that are simple,a kind of springtime of the heart.

And then the complications of existence do not paralyse us so much.

You tell us: 'Don't worry;I am with you always.'

/br.Roger/

Fear is a great obstacle to joy - fear of the tragic consequences of the errors of the past, agonizing worry about the future. To open a space where joy can develop, the Lord combats the causes of fear. / from the book: Seeds of Trust - Taize/

The valley of sorrow

I've found it today on Jody's blog and just want to keep it here as it fits perfectly to my life here and now. Don't know where I'm going and why I'm going through this but I know You're with me.

"No matter how deep the valley may be,
there is always a mountaintop on eitherside.
The way out of the valley leads to a mountaintop -
no matter which path you may choose."
